PeopleACT: Prioritizing Residents in New York City Public Housing Renovation
Award-winning research and engagement project examining the evolution of public housing in the United States and critically exploring the NYC PACT/RAD public-private partnership model. The project centered resident perspectives and experiences to better understand the impacts of housing renovation and public-private redevelopment.

Evaluating Street Vendor Carts in NYC
Research project conducted in partnership with Pratt Institute to explore the feasibility of introducing new cart designs for street vendors in New York City. The project included stakeholder interviews, community meetings, and on-street interviews to understand vendors’ needs, experiences, and priorities and inform the development of a more responsive cart design.

A Flower to Every Mother
Community-based program developed with mothers in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, creating opportunities for reflection, connection, and peer exchange during early motherhood. Each month, new mothers received a handwritten card featuring an original drawing and a message about the realities of motherhood. The program also included gatherings where mothers and children could share experiences and build community.

Affordable Housing in Washington Heights
Research and planning project examining housing conditions in Washington Heights, a densely populated neighborhood in Northern Manhattan. The work explored housing demand, affordability, and local economic development, identifying key challenges and developing strategies to better align housing policy with neighborhood needs.

Research and evaluation project examining the development of the Coney Island Business Improvement District (BID). The work assessed local economic development, marketing, and retail conditions to better understand opportunities and challenges for the district.

Program Evaluation for Diversity House, London
Program evaluation for a London-based organization providing educational services to underserved youth. The project included focus groups with program participants and key stakeholders, followed by analysis and a final report documenting community perspectives, findings, and recommendations regarding the program’s effectiveness.
